Silicomanganese Slag Felman Production generates a residual commercial by-product, silicomanganese slag, through the production of Ferro Silicomanganese (FeSiMn). The slag is an inert solid green material consisting primarily of aluminum, manganese, magnesium, silicon, and calcium oxides. Production The slag is generated during the production of ferro silicomanganese using electric arc furnaces. The molten slag is casted, cooled by spraying it with cold water, and then crushed to the desired size. Potential Uses Potential uses of the commercial by-product include re-melt/reproduction, industrial fill, road base, textiles manufacturing, etc. Chemical Composition Below please find the available metals totals for the chemicals that were detected as components of the slag material. The material is considered non-hazardous as shown by Toxicity characteristic leaching procedure testing conducted on the material. A qualified and licensed environmental laboratory is currently conducting a general assay of the material to determine the % w/w of the different chemical components. The material is primarily green, gray, and black in color and is odorless. The bulk density of the material is approximately 635 +/- 100 kg/m3. Material Size: Generally, one-to-four-inch stone, but can be crushed and sized to the clients desired specifications.

American Tripoli Powder also known as Rottenstone or Quartz Powder is a microcrystalline kind of quartz produced by leaching highly siliceous limestones or altering chert, chalcedony, or novaculite. It is a soft mineral that can be found in a variety of colors and textures. Product Details: Cream 30 - Least Cut (finest mirror color) Typically used in polyolefin purging compounds and used as a less abrasive, higher impact & flexural strength-producing silica material in a molded epoxy. Product name: Tripoli, Rottenstone, Quartz Powder, Silicon Dioxide, Crystalline Silica Type: Natural Mineral Material: 98.33% Pure Quartz Mineral Powder Grade: Industrial Applications: Abrasive in polishing, buffing, and burnishing compounds; in scouring soaps and powders; a filler or extender in plastics, rubber, and sealants like caulks and epoxy resins; and a pigment in paints. Other Uses: Additive in Portland cement, glass-making, ceramics, insulation for small furnaces, making heat-resisting enamel for stoves, and other minor uses. Usages: - Remove blemishes and minor imperfections on a multitude of finishes, including wood, metal, plastic, and ceramics. - Pigment in paints improves the coating and flow of paints. - It enhances the product's strength and washability. -A filler or extender in plastics, rubber, and sealants like caulks and epoxy resins.

Microsilica, also known as silica fume, it is a very fine pozzolanic material, composed of amorphous silica produced byelectric arc furnaces as a byproduct of the production of elemental silicon or ferro silicon alloys.Microsilica can be used in a variety of cementitious products such as concrete, grouts, and mortars as well as elastomer, polymer, refractory, ceramic and rubber applications. Silica fume is widely used in concrete field: High-performance project, such as bridge, airport, hydropowder station, seawall, railway projects. 1)Enhance the mechanical properties of concrete. High strength and early strength has been used in substructures of high-performance concrete. 2)Improve the durability of concrete: Significant improvements can be seen in the permeability resistance, abrasion resistance, anti-corrosion against chlorideion and anti-freezing of concrete. 3)Enhance consructability. Improve shotconrete, increase easly strength, control temperature contractors can take advantage of the properties of silica fume concrete to expedite projects or to achieve properties that migh otherwise be impossible to achieve.
