Why is pyrogen dangerous?
The pyrogen has the properties of heat resistance, filterability, water solubility, non volatility and easy to be absorbed.
If the Injection contains 1μg / kg pyrogen, it will cause adverse reactions. Fever reaction usually occurs 1 hour after injection. Sometimes, the temperature can rise to 40 or more. The body will have the symptoms of chills, fever, sweating, nausea, vomiting, even coma or prostration. If the patient is not rescued in time, it may endanger his life. This phenomenon is called pyrogenic reaction".
