Tubing Head Tubing head is a vital component in the oil and gas industry, enabling the safe and efficient production of hydrocarbons from underground reservoirs. It provides a secure connection for production tubing, controls wellbore pressure, and helps maintain the integrity of the wellhead system. Description The Tubing Head is an adapter between the first casing column and the blowout preventer set (during drilling) or wellhead (after completion). The adapter can be threaded or welded to the casing and can have flanged or clamped connections to match the blowout preventer set or wellhead. It is the primary interface for pressure control equipment. At the time of installation, the casing head is usually tested for very stringent pressure and leakage parameters prior to the installation of any surface equipment to ensure viability under blowout conditions. Characteristics The tubing head and tubing cross are used to suspend the tubing and seal the annular space of tubing. Its characteristics are: 1. The secondary sealing form between the tubing hanging and the reducer flange includes O-ring seal, greased BT seal and metal-to-metal seal; 2. The sealing forms of tubing hanging and tubing head are metal-metal seal, special synthetic rubber seal or metal seal + special synthetic rubber seal; 3. With grease injection port and sealed test port; 4. The lower sealing form of the tubing head includes O-ring seal, greased BT seal and metal seal; 5. The tubing hanging and tubing head reducer flange can directly pass through the cable and can be equipped with a downhole safety valve control pipeline interface; 6.The side exit link is threaded or wire-flange type, and is equipped with VR thread for easy valve replacement operation.
