20cms in dia and 45mm wide, accurately balanced wheel is mounted on a horizontal shaft held in ball bearings. The wheel is marked and a pointers fixed to the bracket. The bracket has four holes and can be fixed tot the wall.Available : With / Without Counter Available : With / Without Counter
Consists of wooden plank, two rods, metal strip with hooks, two acrylic spring balance 500gm each one meter scale with hooks, two sets of slatted weights 50gm x 5. It is used to verify conditions of equilibrium for parallel forces by showing that sum of upward forces is equal to sum of downward forces
To demonstrate the conversion of kinetic energy into potential energy and vice versa. It consists of a rotating axle which is held in horizontal position by two threads attached to a metal strip and is moved upwards by winding of thread. When the wheel is released from its wound position, wheel acquires kinetic energy on its way down. At the lowest position when the threads are full unwound, they start rewinding around the axle of wheel and rises upward again. The whole assembly is fitted on a stand.
Consists of wide mouth glass bottle of cap 10 Ltr. The bottle is placed inside a wooden box packed with cotton wool to protect form temperature change. It is fitted with metallic neck having three openings. Openings A is connected to compression pump, opening B connected to oil manometer and C is connected to atmosphere. Complete with pump & manometer
Vertical flask type demonstration mode, on metal base.In a four stroke engine, to perform full cycle of operations (changing the contents of cylinder and effecting combustion) four strokes of piston are required. This type of engine is used in Motor bikers, Petrol driven cars and certain types of scooters
This is an internal combustion engine. The vaporized fuel is mixed with air in carburettor. This mixture’s sucked by engine (Intake stroke - 1st stroke) through inlet valve which opens. The descending piston draws fresh petrol and air mixture into the cylinder. This mixture is compressed (Compression strokes 2nd stroke). During compression the mixture gets heated and ignition burns the fuel converting into a large volume of gas which pushes the piston. while the valves are closed the piston is pushed to the bottom of the cylinder by the gases of combustion (Power Stroke 3rd stroke) The exhaust valve opens due to momentum gained by wheels piston is pushed upwards and burnt gases are expelled (Exhaust stroke - 4th stroke).
Vertical Flask Type demonstration model, on metal base. This type of engine is used in Diesel cars, Jeeps, Buses, Trucks, Tractors and Generating sets. This is an internal combustion type engine. The thermal energy which is released when the fuel is burned is converted into mechanical energy. In this type of engine air alone is drawn into the cylinder and is compressed in a ratio of 14:1 to 25:1. As a result of this height compression, air is heated to a temperature of 7000C to 9000C. Now a creation amount of diesel is injected into the cylinder. Because of the prevailing high temperature, the fuel ignites spontaneouslyThe four strokes involves are : Intake stroke, Compression stroke, Power stroke, Exhaust stroke.
