ROBO-1, since its debut in 1995, we have sold over 300 machines in Japan and overseas. Most of the owners of ROBO-1 are still using the machine and making profit even though they have been running the machine over ten years. One of ROBO-1 users(stone mason) in northern Europe who runs family stone processing business says investment on this ROBO-1 was not a cheap one but , it was worth it. They bought the ROBO-1 in 1998 and still running it. What's special about ROBO-1 ? Why has it become the best seller of stone polishing machines even though the price of it is higher than regular gate type polishing machine ? The biggest reason will be its precision of polishing the stone. ROBO-1 has an ability to grind and polish the stone, granite or marble, with the gloss checker measurement of 120 maximum. This is due to the fact that the body of ROBO-1 is made of reinforced cast iron. ROBO-1 also is operated by a software that is originally developed by our engineer. This makes the machine enable to polish the stone with the precision of tenth of millimeter. ROBO-1 is unique with its vivid yellow color and cantilever three axle arm that holds polishing pad one by one up to nine pads. One arm polishing makes the way of flat stone polishing unique as well. ROBO-1 is able to polish the stone even it is an odd shape, not square or rectangular but, round or multi corner stone. It is also able to learn the shape of the stone with built in optical sensor and automatically grinds and polishes the stone. Of course overhauling maintenance of ROBO-1 needs to be done every four or five years in order to keep its ability of polishing. Our skilled engineers will be able to serve that part as well.
