With its signature screw-like spiral shaft, the zinc nail is used to fasten zinc to lumber, sarking boards, or larths. The shaft is specifically designed with grooves to prevent easy separation of the zinc from the materials to which it is joined. AVAILABLE IN 2.5 inches
Far thinner than head nails, finishing nails are used to add the final touches to lumber-based constructions or fabrications. With a head that is almost imperceptible, these are usually used to secure lumber in places where nail must not be very visible. Finishing nails are ideal for furniture-making, door jambs, mouldings and window frames. AVAILABLE IN 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 inches
CONCRETE NAIL Designed to penetrate hard, non-metal surfaces like concrete, stone and brick, concrete nails are manufactured from a harder, firmer metal than regular wire nails. This is often used to attach lumber to concrete or stone constructions, as well as to mount items to concrete structures. AVAILABLE IN 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 inches
With its signature screw-like spiral shaft, the zinc nail is used to fasten zinc to lumber, sarking boards, or larths. The shaft is specifically designed with grooves to prevent easy separation of the zinc from the materials to which it is joined. AVAILABLE IN 2.5 inches
Specially-engineered to withstand conditions such as salt-water (which can cause rusting), hot-tipped galvanised nails are coated with molten zinc during manufacturing to add an extra layer of protection against oxidization. Hot-tipped nails are ideal for outdoor constructions where nails are exposed to moisture and other natural elements. AVAILABLE IN 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 inches
With large, flat heads designed to prevent them from easily slipping through materials they are nailed into, clout nails hold a wide variety of functions. These include outdoor wood furnishing projects, cabinetry, application of roofing tiles, attaching ceiling boards or sheets of felt to roofing. AVAILABLE IN 1 and 5/8 inches

Our iron ore pellets and fines are made from magnetite and have high iron ore content pellets at around 67 percent concentration and fines over 70 percent. This means they have lower impact on the environment than competing pellets and products such as sintered hematite fines. Using pellets instead of sinter (slightly larger pieces of iron ore) in customers pig iron processes saves emissions at steel plants. The high concentration of iron combined with the carefully tested and balanced additives in our pellets also result in lower emissions in customers ironmaking processes.
Iron ores are the raw material used to make iron and steel. Iron ore production has significantly expanded in recent years, owing to increasing steel demands in developing countries, such as China. As the content of iron ore in deposits has deteriorated, low-grade iron ore has been processed. Iron ore concentrate is an output product from processed iron ores that have been milled (crush, grind, magnetic separation, flotation) to separate deleterious elements and produce a high-quality product. Sintering and pelletizing are economic and widely used agglomeration processes to prepare iron ore fines/iron concentrate for ironmaking use. The quality requirements of sinter and pellet, such as physical, chemical, and metallurgical specifications, depend on each ironmaking furnace, and those requirements influence the operation of the iron ore sintering and pelletizing plant. Researchers have usually focused on the effect of the chemical, physical, and mineralogical characteristics of iron ore on these steps and the consequences for sinter/pellet quality and sintering/pelletizing performance. The present Special Issue on Iron Concentrate Particles will summarize the progress achieved in the last five years.
Iron ores are rocks and minerals from which metallic iron can be economically extracted. The ores are usually rich in iron oxides. Ores containing very high quantities of hematite or magnetite, typically greater than about 60% iron, are known as natural ore or direct shipping ore, and can be fed directly into iron-making blast furnaces.
