Arenga (Gumati) fiber the best quality for brooms cleaning floors, streets and household applications and has also been used in paintbrushes, rope and mattres. This fiber is cleaned and dressed. It is not treated with any chemicals and is 100% ecofriendly and biodegradable, but with simple care will last many years or decades.

Bassine is inexpensive and durable, and its sweeping qualities are fair, but it is not resilient and may distort in use especially when wet.
