Addition of SOFTOMNI 2000 before filler is preferable to get best sizing effect. The efficiency of ALKYL KETENE DIMER depends on the retention and drainage aid program. The higher the drainage, first pass retention and first pass ash retention, optimum is the efficiency of AKD. BBU-L has a broad spectrum of application and has good compatibility with Acids & Alum. Average dosage 0.2 to 6.0 g/L with size press liquor. BRIGHTOMNI BBU-L can perform with conventional Starch at the size press. Also together with CMC, PVA and anionic and slightly synthetic sizing additives. When applied under acidic or alkaline stock conditions, STRENGTHOMNI 6033 will efficiently increase the wet strength properties of finished paper or paperboard products. STRENGTHOMNI 6033 resin is highly effective for developing wet strength in facial tissue, napkins, towels, carrier board, liquid packaging, bag paper, linerboard, medium, and other specialty papers. STRENGTHOMNI 6033 performs over a broad pH range of 4.0 9.0 (with best efficiency between 6.5 - 8.0) in the presence of normal papermaking additives.
