China clay is characterized by its fine particle size, high brightness and rheology. We develop fine and ultra fine grades of Hydrous Kaolin from our best reserves, for various industries including Paint, Paper, Printing Inks, Paper board, Rubber etc. China clay is a natural mineral found in partly decompo-sed granite, an igneous feldsparic rock. Chemically, kaolin is a hydrated aluminium silicate containing Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O. Kaolin was first discovered in the mountainous province of Kiangsi, China in A.D. 500. The word kaolin derives from the Chinese character kaolin which means high ridge. It was first used by the Chinese to make high quality porcelain.
Silica sand is one of the most common varieties of sand found in the world. It is used for a wide range of applications. Sand is the general term for broken down granules of minerals or rocks, technically between about one-sixteenth of a millimeter to two millimeters in diameter, falling between silt and gravel in the spectrum of sizes. There are many varieties of sand in the world, each with their own unique composition and qualities. Silica is another name for Silicon dioxide, SiO2, of which quartz is a specific latticed structure. So silica sand is quartz that over the years, through the work of water and wind, has been broken down into tiny granules. These granules can be used for many different purposes, and can be found in most non-tropical regions.

Calcined Clay or Refractory clay is obtained by Calcining (heating) superior-grade Clay at high temperatures (from 850o C to 1600o C). This removes moisture and volatiles which thereby increases the Alumina content. Compared to an Alumina content of about 30% to 40% in raw Clay, Calcined Clay has an Alumina content of 40% to 60%. The Calcination is carried out in Rotary Kilns at different temperatures ranging from 850o C to 1600o C depending upon the customer's application. "Smokey Grey Quartz Lumps" likely refers to a type of quartz mineral that has a smoky gray or grayish-black coloration. Quartz is a common mineral found in various geological environments, and its color can vary based on impurities and the presence of certain elements. Smoky quartz gets its gray to blackish hue from the natural irradiation of aluminum-containing minerals within the quartz crystal structure. Quartz is a versatile mineral used in various industries and applications, including: Smoky quartz lumps can be used for decorative purposes in home decor, landscaping, and interior design. Quartz is a key ingredient in the production of glass, silicon, and various industrial materials due to its high resistance to heat and chemicals. High-purity quartz is used in the electronics industry for making quartz crystals and oscillators, which are essential components in electronic devices like watches, radios, and computers.
Quartz A grade refer to high-quality quartz that are of the highest grade and purity. This grade typically has a SiO2 content of 99.9% and above, making them suitable for use in industries where high purity is critical, such as in the production of high-quality optical lenses, semiconductors, and other electronics components. Quartz A grade has a particle size ranging from 1mm to 10mm, in the case of Lumps, depending on the specific application. They are carefully selected and processed to ensure that they meet strict quality standards, including low levels of impurities and uniform particle size distribution.
