Active Zinc Oxide, manufactured via the precipitation process resulting in small size particles with a very high surface area product compared to zinc oxide from the French process. The precipitation step is carefully controlled to yield fine particles of zinc oxide with high dispersal characteristics. Active Zinc Oxide is used in low dosage compared to traditional zinc oxide from the French process when used in rubber or other polymer applications
