We are trading in - Light Cycle Oil Light Cycle Oil (LCO) is a diesel boiling range product from Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCUs). However, LCO is a poor diesel fuel blending component without further processing. Oil refining is an industrial process which involves separation, conversion and finishing. FCC centered refinery uses Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) has the major conversion unit. FCCU is responsible for the production of petrol, LPG and Light Cycle Oil (LCO). Diesel is the most important fuel used in automobiles because of its high efficiency. The global demand for diesel is increasing than petrol but many older refineries have optimized their plant for producing more petrol than diesel. Light Cycle Oil is the diesel boiling range material, which is produced in addition to gas and petrol in the FCCU. LCO is treated in the diesel hydrotreater (DHT) unit to produce low sulphur environment friendly diesel. Production of LCO is increased in the FCCU by employing medium conversion mode rather than using traditional low conversion mode. Low conversion mode will cause a loss of gas production, deteriorate petrol octane rating and also increase the production of low valued slurry oil. With medium conversion technique both gas quality and quantity is maintained and improves the petrol octane rating. Medium conversion mode also reduces the amount of low valued slurry oil. Slurry oil contains LCO boiling range material in it; hence a separate slurry oil stripping tower is employed to recover the LCO from slurry oil.

LPG is a by-product of crude oil production (Associated Gas) and a by-product of natural gas production (Non Associated Gas). It is also a by-product of the refinery process, transported mainly in pressurised vessels. Associated and Non Associated LPG or NGL's (Natural Gas Liquids) are shipped via pipeline in large quantities where possible, for example in the US, and via refrigerated VLGC's (Very Large Gas Carriers) from, for example, the US Gulf Coast to Japan. As well as being a fundamental building block in the petrochemical process, LPG it also a convenient fuel used globally for domestic purposes; in the northern hemisphere, LPG is used for home heating, while in Africa it is used as a cooking gas. In some markets, LPG is also used as a fuel for cars (known as Autogas).

Blown Bitumen 75-25 is Semi Solid grade of pure petroleum bitumen. Special physical properties of its grade can be used in different applications in the construction business. Blown Bitumen 75/25 is produced by the air-blowing of penetration grade bitumen. This is done at high temperatures, resulting in a material of a much higher penetration index. RAHA Bitumen 75/25 is based on petroleum bitumen which is made by blowing bitumen 60/70 by very hot air. The designation of the Blown Bitumen 75/25 refers to the midpoint of the softening point acceptance criteria. Our Bitumen partner Co. is also capable of producing other grades of Oxidized Bitumen according to the specifications of individual clients. Some of the major advantages of Oxidized Bitumen are that it is completely water resistant, highly flexible and durable. Further, it is chemically very stable. Oxidized bitumen is a very flexible compound that is not only chemically stable but also a very durable compound apart from being completely water resistant. Lastly, Oxidized Bitumen has some very prominent technical advantages that makes it a very sought after compound in various applications. Uses of Blown Bitumen 75/25 Blown Bitumen 75/25 is a solid or semi-black solid material and gradually liquid when heated. Oxidized Bitumen grades are blown or oxidized Asphalt â??s which are produced by passing air through soft bitumen under controlled temperature conditions. This process gives the bitumen more rubbery properties than penetration or hard grade bitumens and a variety of uses in industrial applications.

Russian JP54 is an abbreviation for Jet Propulsion, A1, Colonial Grade 54. During the refining process only 15% of the crude oil is made up of JP54 the rest of the grade is used for different types of plastic. Developed by JP Morgan, Colonial grade JP54 was replaced by AVGAS also known as AVGAS100LL. Actually most jet fuel exported from Russia is JP54 or Colonial JP54. It is similar to Jet A except the the Specific Energy is 18.4 mj/kg compared to that of 42.8 mj/kg of Jet A.
