Stretch (fixation) film/wrap is used primarily for the packaging and securing of goods on pallets. Stretch film also helps to reduce product loss, discourage load tampering, and reduce worker injury.
Properties
They protect against spillage, dust, mechanical, damage and weather conditions during transport.
Elongation of the stretch film shows the increase in length of the wrap (e.g., an elongation of 150% means that 1m of the stretch film can be stretched up to 150% i.e., to 2.5m)
