Coir Fibre Coir, seed-hair fibre obtained from the outer shell, or husk, of the coconut with or without retting. They are resistant to abrasion and can be dyed. They are used to make brushes, are woven into matting, and are spun into yarns for marine cordage and fishnets. There are two types of coir: the more commonly used brown fibre, which is obtained from mature coconuts, and finer white fibre, which is extracted from immature green coconuts after soaking for up to 10 months. Mature coir fibres contain more lignin, a complex woody chemical, and less cellulose than fibres such as flax or cotton.
We export fine coir fibers extracted from mature green and brown coconut husks. Coir is widely used for commercial and industrial applications to design mats, mattresses, brushes and upholstery. It is known for its low decomposition rate.We provide coir fiber that is free from 2-3% pith, and roots. Natural coir fiber is baled with the assistance of rust free iron Hoops or plastic straps, to ensure its high quality and utility. Our products are available at competitive prices. We also customise the product for a client. Coir fiber is used in the bedding industry, for automobile upholstery and for erosion control. Coir ( or coconut fibre, is a natural fibre extracted from the husk of coconut and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes, and mattresses. Coir is the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut.
Coir Fibre Coir Fibre is extracted from matured green and brown Coconut Husks. It is then processed into the finest fibres. Coir Fibre is of two types–brown and white. Coir obtained from fresh green Coconut is termed as White Fibre, which is finer than the Brown Fibre. The Brown Fibre are the outcome of Seasoned Fully Matured Coconuts which lose their green colour in the process. Each of them have their own distinct types of applications. The Brown Fibre is widely used for fabrication of doormats, brushes, mattresses and other upholstery material whereas the White Fibre is used for making ropes, making fishing nets, and other eco-friendly Products.
