Wheat bran
- flour production product comprising a solid shell of grains of wheat.
Bran contains 90% of the most important and relevant substances in wheat grains.
This shell corn germ, seeds and flower shell outer layer of the wheat endosperm.
Wheat bran - one of the most valuable types of animal husbandry feed. They contain many vitamins B, vitamin A and E, beta-carotene, macro- and microelements: iron, sodium, magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc and iodine.
Bran - a valuable source of fiber, starch, protein. The 90 grams of bran as much fiber as containing six kilograms of cabbage.

Wheat production is estimated at 11.1 million tonnes, compared with 9.6 million a year earlier.
The cultivation of barley is estimated at 3.3 million tons, compared with 3 million. Oat production is estimated at 700 000 tonnes, compared to 600 000. It is expected that Poland will produce 3.2 million tonnes of rye, slightly less than in the previous year (3.3 million).
