Sesame is a plant grown in tropical regions of Asia. Depending on the type, it can be in colors such as white, yellow, black, grey, brown and red. Sesame is considered one of the oldest oilseeds in human history.
Content of Sesame
Sesame seeds consist of 50% oil, 25% protein and the remainder carbohydrates, dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. Sesame contains fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin E.
