The natural properties of Feldspar are: - Crystal shape: Single or triangular - Color: Orange or Orange Orange - Scratch: White, yellow or pink - Hardness: 6 - Specific density: 2,54 - 2,76 Feldspar is used in many industries, mainly the manufacture of glass, ceramics and abrasives, as well as used as fillers in the manufacture of plastic, paints and rubber and recently began to use feldspar in the manufacture of electrical insulators and plastic domes. Feldspar is a naturally occurring anhydrous, inorganic, igneous rock. It is a complex aluminum silicate containing varying amounts of sodium, potassium, and calcium.
They are used as coarse aggregate in the production of asphalt and concrete. In addition, they are also used in the manufacture of enamel, scouring powder and glass.
