TUF Marine and offshore Electro-Hydraulic Sliding Watertight Door System is suitable for the positions below waterline.
They are usually used for watertight bulkheads of engine rooms,steering gear rooms, boiler rooms, main engine rooms and auxiliary machinery rooms and etc. They conform to the requirements of China CB3007 and ASTM F1196.
This system includes watertight doors, local control devices, remote control devices above the bulkhead deck, sound and light alarm devices, centralized control devices for the main console (cab) and power source layout, etc. The structure of the sliding watertight door generally includes a door frame, a door panel, a clamping device, a roller, a door rail and a bracket, and a sealing strip.
Our factory inspection makes sure watertight door welding surface have no cracks, slag inclusions, unfused, etc. And the surface of the watertight door is derusted and the derust grade meets the requirements of Sa2.5 or St2 in GB/T 8923.1-20110, and at least two anti-rust paints are applied. The material of the sealing strip is EPDM. The doors can be operated manually at both sides as well as remote control. Its hydraulic pipes could be operated manually. The manual control handle is laid on the deck.

There are offered two types of MDF doors: Laminated MDF (clean look, sturdy and reliable) and Veneer MDF (sophisticated and heavy look, easy to repair in case of small scratches).The appearance and core of the door may vary greatly according to customers’ needs.

High level exterior doors, two and half times stronger than usual standarts for armored doors.The doors are made of two panels of stainless steel sheets with individual thickness of 1.5 mm or 2.00 mm each. There are C-shaped metal ribs between the panels through the whole door.The space between the ribs is filled with special fire resistant, noise and heat cancelling padding. The body of the door can be covered with a material according to customers’ choosing – paint or MDF panels, all in a variety of colors. The door thickness is 62 mm if it is covered with paint and 80 -90 mm if it covered in MDF panels. Special hinges are used for the doors suspension, that allow the lowering or lifting the door by around 10 mm., even if it has been installed. The company-producer has created a special defensive box inside the door for a lot additional security. The door locking system is placed in that box. The locking system and the number of the locks also can be done under customers’ needs. The doors covered in MDF panels include MDF Laminated Exterior Doors and MDF Veneer Exterior Doors.
The exterior doors are between 620- 900 mm thick and weigh between 70 and 110 kg, depending on the size and materials used for coverage.
