A tradition, that has already impressed the ancient Mughal kings of India and Persia, who then decorated their palaces with these unique and breathtaking pieces of art.
Each piece is unique and has been crafted with care and quality in a small Family-run -workshop in Kashmir. It takes more than one person to finish one of these fabrics and usually depends on the piece and type of needlework.
The workmanship is divided into cutting and tailoring, needlework by the artisan, dying of the woolen thread with natural (vegetable) colors, and special washing-finishing so that the colors will last a lifetime.
