It's made from fusion of high purity alumina powder and chromium oxide in electric arc furnace. Because of its chrome content, it's a pink color material. Its main content is Aluminium Oxide(Al2O3), with little content(about 0.7% Chromium Oxide and about 0.3% Sodium Oxide(Na2O). Pink Fused Aluminium Oxide is a hard, tough, self-sharpening, low magnetic, coarse grits, pure and clean abrasive material. Compared to White Fused Aluminium Oxide, it has similar hardness, while better strength and cutting side.
