It is a renewable and sustainable alternative to traditional peat moss, often used in gardening, horticulture, and agriculture. Growing Medium: Coco peat is widely used as a growing medium or soilless substrate for growing plants in containers, raised beds, and hydroponic systems. It has excellent water retention properties, holding up to 8-10 times its weight in water, while also providing good aeration and drainage for plant roots. Soil Amendment: Coco peat can be mixed with garden soil or other growing media to improve soil structure, water retention, and nutrient availability. It helps loosen compacted soils, increase moisture retention in sandy soils, and enhance drainage in clay soils, making it suitable for a wide range of soil types and plant species. Seed Starting: Coco peat is ideal for starting seeds and propagating cuttings due to its light texture and ability to retain moisture. It provides a sterile and weed-free environment for seed germination, while also promoting healthy root development and reducing transplant shock. Potting Mix Component: Coco peat is often used as a component of potting mixes and growing media for container plants, both indoors and outdoors. It helps maintain a consistent moisture level in pots and containers, reducing the frequency of watering and the risk of overwatering or underwater Packaging Size: As per user requirement Packaging type: As per user requirement
Cocopeat is a multipurpose growing medium made out of coconut husk. The fibrous coconut husk is pre washed, machine dried, sieved and made free from sand and other contaminations such as animal and plant residue. Cocopeat is a very good alternative to traditional peat moss and Rock wool. Its air-filled porosity and high-water holding capacity makes it, an ideal growing medium for the plant crops. It is 100% organic and eco-friendly, free from soil borne pathogen and weed. ADVANTAGES OF COCOPEAT Eco-friendly and Sustainable growing medium High moisture retention capacity High cation exchange capacity Improves soil aeration Improves soil buffering capacity Mostly tolerant to pH variations Can buffer water soluble nutrients COCOPEAT MANUFACTURING PROCESS 1. Coconut Husk Processing : Coconut husks are processed at our Coconut Fibre Mills to extract coir fibre, leaving behind the by-product a spongy material that binds the coconut fibre in the husk â?? the coco coir or the coco peat, the main raw material for the Coco Coir based Growing Medium. 2. Washing of Raw Cocopeat : Coir Pith is washed with fresh water to lower the electrical conductivity which is a measure of the salt content, so that plants roots can absorb water efficiently and effectively. 3. Drying of Washed Cocopeat : Wet Coir pith is then sun-dried in concrete yards to reduce the moisture content to the right value to achieve the required compaction. 4. Sorting : Dried Coir Pith are sorted based on their electrical conductivity and moisture level. 5. Sifting & Sieving : Sorted Coir Pith is sifted and sieved to remove the fine dust particles and extract the right sized grains as per the growing medium specification. 6. Compaction of Cocopeat : Substrate mixture is compacted in hydraulic presses to the required size as per clientâ??s requirement. 7. Pack & Dispatch : Packed as per the specifications (shrink wrapped with / without label or packed in cartons) and are then moved to our stock warehouse for palletising and shipment.

Coir also called coconut fiber, is a naturalâ??fiber extracted from the outer husk of coconut and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes and mattresses and etc. Processing the pulp left over from sugarcane production produces a durable alternative to traditional paper products. While paper plates are infamous for their flimsiness, disposable plates made from bagasse are strong and firm while being fully biodegradable and compostable The areca palm tree (Scientific Name: Areca Catechu) shed the sheath, which is the primary raw material used in the areca plates manufacturing process. The sheath connects the leaf part and the stem of the areca tree
Copra is the dried, white flesh of the coconut from which coconut oil is extracted. Traditionally, the coconuts are sun-dried, especially for export, before the oil, also known as copra oil, is pressed out. The oil extracted from copra is rich in lauric acid, making it an important commodity in the preparation of lauryl alcohol, soaps, fatty acids, cosmetics, etc. and thus a lucrative product for many coconut-producing countries.
