What is China Clay? China Clay has the chemical Al2Si2O5(OH)4. It is also known as Kaolin, and is a soft white clay used in the production of ceramic tiles. It is a valuable industrial metal. China clay was first discovered in the 1740s in England. It gets its name from a hill in China called Kao-ling, where it has been collected for centuries. It has the potential to occur lung problems. It consumes impurities that occur skin problems
Ball clay is a really good sandy clay that burns light to near-white. They are most commonly used to make white ceramics and are renowned for their flexibility, unfired endurance, and light fired color. A mixture of minerals, primarily kaolinite, mica, and quartz, make up ball clay. The predominant colors are white, brown, and gray. What are the specifications of Ball Clay? Ball Clay is used in a variety of ways in the ceramics industry, including sanitary ware, tableware, wall and floor tiles, and glazes. In a ceramic body, it works as a binding assistant and contributes to plasticity, workability, and strength. What are other uses? Ball Clay is a high-quality, long-lasting product. It is widely used in the construction industry, horticulture, agriculture, and recreation industries, and as an extender in polymers, plastics, fertilizers, and insecticides. What are the Disadvantages of Ball Clay? Ball clay has a significant disadvantage. Because of too much shrinkage during drying and burning, they cannot be used on their own
Levigated Kaolin Clay Pink: Kaolin or china clay is a natural mineral found in partly decompose-sled granite, an igneous feldsparic rock. Chemically, kaolin is a hydrated aluminum silicate containing Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O. Kaolin was first discovered in the mountainous province of Kiangsi, China in A.D. 500. The word "kaolin" derives from the Chinese character "kao lin" which means high ridge. It was first used by the Chinese to make high quality porcelain. We feel proud to acquaint ourselves as one of the prominent china clay biggest supplier and exporters from India.
Kaolin Clay - Raw (Crude) We offer high quality Crude China Clay in the market. Like all clays, Kaolin or Crude China Clay is basically a hydrated aluminum silicate, plastic when wet and permanently hard when fired. "Clay" refers to a physical condition not to chemical composition. This varies with different types of clay. Huge mechanical shovels drag lines, tractors and graders ship the overburden of earth from the clay, then take out the crude clay itself for removal to the processing plant. There it is dumped directly or carried by conveyor into dry storage sheds. According to the moisture content, it may feel almost dry to the touch, soapy, or slick as mud. Applications : Wall Tiles Body, Pierced Body, Fire Bridge, Floor Tiles, Pottery, etc. With our state of art manufacturing unit we are capable of providing customized processed China clay to customers specification in quality and delivery schedules they want.

Activated clays are the most utilized minerals and considered very efficient and economical sorbents according to their chemical and physical properties. Clays are enjoying rapid popularity in the petroleum refining industry for the various processes such as adsorption and separation. Removal of many components such as sulfur, heavy metals, colors and separation of different hydrocarbon groups of crude oil and petroleum fractions can be carried out by clay adsorption. The using of clay as adsorbent in several petroleum refining processes such as desulphurization, deasphalting, waste oil recovery, bleaching, corrosion reduction, heavy metals removal and other. One of the simplest, easiest and efficient separation processes used in different industries is adsorption Results show that different types of clay are obtainable and used in many applications. Clay adsorption can be enhanced the treatment and finishing of crude oils and petroleum fractions through several modifications such as metals impregnation, acid and thermal activations. Fullers earth clays promote the highest adsorption capacity to remove sulfur and a high bleaching potential and effective in decolorization and neutralization any petroleum oil.Clays promote the highest removal efficiency of Ni and V from crude oil. Additionally, the adsorption pre-treatment affects the reduction in corrosion yields and the corrosion rate.

China Clay or Kaolin is one of the purest form of clays, composed chiefly of the mineral kaolinite, usually formed when granite is changed by hydrothermal metamorphism. Kaolinite is a clay mineral, part of the group of industrial minerals, with the chemical composition Al2Si2O5(OH)4. It is a layered silicate mineral, with one tetrahedral sheet of silica (SiO4) linked through oxygen atoms to one octahedral sheet of alumina (AlO6) octahedra. Kaolinite has a low shrink - swell capacity and a low cation-exchange capacity (1–15 meq/100 g). It is a soft, earthy, usually white mineral (dioctahedral phyllosilicate clay), produced by the chemical weathering of aluminium silicate minerals like feldspar. In many parts of the world, it is colored pink-orange-red by iron oxide, giving it a distinct rust hue. Lighter concentrations yield white, yellow or light orange colors. Commercial grades of kaolin are supplied and transported as dry powder, semi-dry noodle or as liquid slurry. Salient Features Contributes in improving the chemical resistance, electrical properties and reduction in water absorption Lowers the crack tendency in the finished products Improves shock resistance as well as surface quality
Ball Clay is a variety of Kaolinite, like china-clay. It differs from china-clay in having high plasticity and less refractoriness. In chemical composition, ball and china clays do not differ greatly except that the former contains a larger proportion of silica. It has derived its name from the practice of removing it in the form of ball-like lumps from the clay pits in the UK. Ball clays are kaolinitic sedimentary clays that commonly consist of 20-80% kaolinite, 10-25% mica, 6-65% quartz. Localized seams in the same deposit have variations in composition, including the quantity of the major minerals, accessory minerals and carbonaceous materials such as lignite. They are fine-grained and plastic in nature, and, unlike most earthenware clays, produce a fine quality white-coloured pottery body when fired, which is the key to their popularity with potters. Ball clays are relatively scarce deposits due to the combination of geological factors needed for their formation and preservation.
