AAK's 3 tips to ensure that the Proportional Valve is free of jamming, winning the affirmation of customers in Turkey Ewalz is from Turkey, and mainly purchases standard parts of hydraulic cartridge valves from Ningbo China. Recently, they developed a hydraulic manifold that requires the use of SUN proportional valves. He purchased it from a proportional valve manufacturer in Ningbo, and after 2 weeks of operation, the equipment experienced significant vibration. The on-site engineer found that the proportional valve was severely stuck. The original hydraulic valve manufacturer stated that this proportional valve is a replica of SUN, with fully calibrated parameters, but there are differences in performance. Ewalz was speechless and had to look for a new hydraulic valve manufacturer for this proportional valve. Ewalz browsed the AAK hydraulic valve website, stayed for nearly 15 minutes and left a message: 1. Does AAK have an existing program for benchmarking SUN proportional valves? 2. Can AAK completely solve the problem of valve spool jamming, vibration and noise? After communication, it was learned that the hydraulic manifold they developed was very tight on time, they had no time to customize it and could only choose the existing SUN proportional valve. The proportional valve produced by the original valve manufacturer has the same function as SUN, but has poor performance. This SUN proportional valve is widely used, and AAK have a record of 6 shipments last year. There has never been any jamming of the valve spool, and we have inventory, which fully meets his requirements. 2 weeks after AAK sent the SUN proportional valve samples, Ewalz informed us via email that the hydraulic manifold debugging was successful. 2 months later, Ewalz informed us that their engineers were satisfied with the AAK proportional valve. The root cause of unsatisfactory performance of the original valve manufacturer's SUN proportional valve lies in its accuracy. The vast majority of proportional valve manufacturers have a cylindricity machining accuracy greater than 5um, which is 70% lower than the SUN standard cylindricity. For the accuracy of proportional valves that is completely in line with the SUN standard parts, there are probably less than 3 hydraulic valve manufacturers in Ningbo China. AAK controls the accuracy of the proportional valve from 3 aspects: 1. AAK proportional valve spool control: The valve spool is produced using a German CNC lathe with one blade and then high-precision cylindrical grinding. The machining error is controlled within �± 1um, and the coaxiality and cylindricity are controlled within 3um. 2. AAK proportional valve hole control: Adopting Swiss honing processing, the accuracy can reach IT6-IT7 level, and the surface roughness can reach Ra0.2-0.025um.

AAK exclusive hydraulic manifold has no rival At the beginning of March this year, Bartolomeo said in an email that he would like to make an appointment to consult AAK about hydraulic manifold problems. Bartolomeo, from Italy, is the purchasing manager of Italpresse Industrie Shanghai Branch. According to the communication, their company developed a hydraulic die-casting machine at the end of last year. The sales volume is just so. The general feedback is that the equipment has high energy consumption and low production efficiency. Their engineers pondered for more than 2 months, but couldn't find the reason, and the boss also had a big headache. Bartolomeo felt that the hydraulic manifold design dragged down the equipment and consulted the original hydraulic manifold manufacturer. However, the manufacturer could not put forward constructive opinions on the hydraulic manifold design. Bartolomeo thought of AAK, because AAK had proposed to modify the oil circuit when receiving the inquiry about the hydraulic manifold. According to the design drawings and system schematic diagram of hydraulic manifold provided by Bartolomeo, AAK engineers closed the door and discussed for 3 days, basically found out the direction, and it is 90% determined that there was a deviation in the oil circuit design of the original hydraulic manifold on the hydraulic die casting machine. There is an energy conflict between the original hydraulic manifold oil circuit aperture and the hydraulic valve used, resulting in the slow response of the hydraulic system and the need for additional energy to maintain the operation of the system, resulting in high energy consumption and low production efficiency. AAK can redesign the hydraulic manifold oil circuit and send hydraulic manifold samples within 30 days. Bartolomeo was very happy that AAK found the cause of hydraulic manifold problem at once. The situation was fed back to the boss, who immediately paid for AAK to redesign and test samples. A month later, AAK sent out the whole newly designed hydraulic manifold. Two weeks later, Bartolomeo emailed to order 20 hydraulic manifolds first to replace those ones on the equipment complained by customers. I was surprised that there was no comment on AAK hydraulic manifold samples but received the urgent order first. Bartolomeo advised that according to the comparison of their engineerâ??s on-site test run, the die casting machine with AAK hydraulic manifold has a sensitive response, the working efficiency is 11% higher than before, whatâ??s more, the energy consumption is reduced by 30%. Their boss asked to order some hydraulic manifolds for emergency use first, and then replace all hydraulic manifolds on the original equipment with AAK shipments.

As a result, the two hydraulic valve manufacturers prevaricated each other. Their engineers also tested the hydraulic cartridge valves and hydraulic valve blocks separately, and there was no abnormality. Scott tried to contact new manufacturers of hydraulic manifold blocks, but they all said that they couldn't get samples ready within 30 days. Scott was worried. Scott saw on AAK website that a hydraulic manifold block was very close to the size he wanted to purchase, so he sent an inquiry. After two rounds of communication, we learned about the problems he encountered in purchasing hydraulic manifold blocks. I told him that if the hydraulic cartridge valves and the hydraulic valve blocks were approved to be no problem, the workshop technician might break the seal ring or shift the seal ring during the installation of the hydraulic manifold blocks. This kind of hydraulic manifold blocks purchased from different manufacturers and then assembled is easy to have problem. A customer of AAK encountered similar problems before. After Scott asked their mechanic to replace the sealing ring, there was no abnormality in the test run, and they could catch up with the exhibition. Scott is glad that the problem of hydraulic manifold block has been solved, and said that for all hydraulic equipment orders after the exhibition, the hydraulic manifold blocks will be purchased from AAK, and also asked us to send hydraulic manifold blocks with similar dimensions to the United States to test stability and service life.
