Magnesia brick is a kind of alkalescency refractory brick that made from the sintered magnesium with its content of 87% and that are combined with silicate. Since its combination composition is mainly cms-m2s system, its load softening temperature is low and thermal shock resistance is poor that determine its application is few. But magnesia brick is widely sued in the furnaces and kilns that have alkaline atmosphere. The essential properties of magnesia brick depends on the nature of the raw materials, the mineral composition, microstructure and closely on the density of the products.
