If we didnt believe in quality and the importance of the individual of craftsmans work, we could make our rugs much more quickly and infinitely more cheaply. But these are not the sort of rugs we want to make. All our rugs are hand knotted in the traditional way, using carefully selected hand spun wool. This is not merely a matter of sentiment, nor a belief in traditional for the sake of it; this method produces the most beautiful rugs in the world, giving pleasure variation in the ground colour and creating a brilliant collection.
