Halibut (lat. Reinhardtius hippoglossoides) is a predatory fish of the flounder family, distinguished by its size. Some giants can grow up to 3-4 m in length and weigh 300 kg.
Food experts consider halibut meat to be the best in the world, as few fish have such a thick layer of white, boneless and very tasty meat. This fish is very suitable for dieting. Halibut fillet is valued in a healthy diet for its high protein and Omega-3 fatty acid content.

Squids belong to the order of cephalopods. Feeds on fish and crustaceans. Their meat is almost like beef. The common squid (lat. Loligo vulgaris) grows up to 50 cm in length. The sleek body is surrounded by a narrow dorsal plate â?? a shell, covered with a muscular mantle. The chamber has 8 tentacles, 2 long tentacles with suckers at the ends. His blood is blue.

When buying frozen squid, pay attention to the color of the squid meat, which can be seen through the skin â?? it should be white. The skin itself has various colors â?? from pink to purple. Before cooking, frozen squid must first be covered with boiling water, then the skin will shrink and it will be easy to remove, which is necessary. After the squid meat is thawed, soak it in hot but not boiling water for 3 minutes. Then peel off the skin with your hands.
