Bard is obtained as a result of production of alcohol from a mash prepared using cereal grains, potatoes, molasses, fruit and other foods containing starch. As the raw material for the mash may be different, the bard composition also varies. In the process of dehydration of dregs, the share of solids increases up to 40% and more, as required by the technology of manufacturing feed additives. Additionally, Bard dry distillery contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B12; H (genuine biotin), B9 (folic acid), p-aminobenzoic acid, and carotenoids, and around 17 amino acids (among which are glutamic acid, glycine, leucine, isoleucine, lysine, proline, valine et al.). The total content of solids reaches 35.54%. Besides, dry dregs contain minor amounts of such vital elements as copper, iron, manganese, and zinc. â?¢ Bard dry distillery can be included in the diet of farm animals and poultry as both a complete ration and an additive to make it richer in protein and vitamins.
