Brief introduction of sand washer: Sand washer is used to wash and select man-made sand (including natural sand). It is widely used to select raw materials by washing in industry such as quarry, mining, building materials, transportation, hydropower and concrete stirring station. Working principle of sand washer: When it is working, electric motor makes the impeller rotate slowly with the help of v-belt, decelerator and gear. Sand and gravel are conveyed to the washing tank through feeder. They tumble and rub each other with the rotating of impeller to remove the foreign substance and destroy the vapor canopy wrapping the sand.The destroying of vapour canopy can facilitate the dehydration. At the same time, water added with high pressure will wash away the foreign substance and foreign body with low specific density to be discharged from over fall weir. Then the washing is finished. Clean sand and gravel are taken to the outlet sank by impeller. Features of sand washer: 1. Simple structure with steady performance. Impeller rotating bearingí»s separation from water and the materials protects itself from being damaged. 2. When used in quarry, it has superior advantages compared with the traditional spiral sand washer as follows (1)less fine sand and stone powder will be missing, (2)sieve is the only part easy to be destroyed (3)it can be used for a very long time without repairing.
