Quartz is the most abundant and most common mineral on the Earth. It is found in almost every geological environment and also it is at least a component of almost every rock type. It has a hexagonal crystal structure and is made of trigonal crystallized silica. It is most varied in terms of varieties, colours and forms. The most important distinction between the types of quartz is that one is of macro crystalline, which is individual crystal visible to the unaided eye, and the other is microcrystalline or cryptocrystalline varieties, aggregates of crystals visible only under high magnification. Chalcedony is the generic term for cryptocrystalline quartz. The transparent variety tends to be microcrystalline and the cryptocrystalline varieties are either translucent or mostly opaque.
Bauxite is a naturally occurring mineral comprising mainly of aluminium hydroxides (the trihydrate Gibbsite Al(OH)3and the AlOOH monohydrate polymorphs boehmite and diaspore), with other components in the mineral typically being silica, iron oxide, titania and aluminosilicates (clay etc). It’s a rock from Laterite soil and it is a primary Ore of Aluminium. Properties of Bauxite include low iron content; a high Polished Stone Value (PSV) for high friction surfacing applications; a high melting point and density. APPLICATIONS Gunning materials High friction surfacing Minerals for abrasion Refractory castables Mouldable and Ramming Mixes Refractory mineral blends CEMENTATION believes in supplying quality bauxite with consistency to its customers across the world, according to their needs.
Rockwool, also known as mineral wool, is an insulation material made from natural stone or mineral fibers. The density of Rockwool refers to the mass of the material per unit volume, and it is commonly expressed in kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m³) or pounds per cubic foot (lb/ft³). The density of Rockwool can vary depending on the specific product and its intended application. Common densities for Rockwool insulation products range from approximately 40 kg/m³ (2.5 lb/ft³) to 200 kg/m³ (12.5 lb/ft³) or more. The choice of density often depends on factors such as thermal performance requirements, structural support needs, and the specific application of the insulation.
GFRP rebar is made of high-strength glass fibers along with a highly durable resin. These products are developed as a superior alternative to steel in concrete reinforcement. It is widely used to reinforcing concrete in applications where it is exposed to water, salt water or chemical environments - Typical Advantages: - Non-Corrosive â?? It will not corrode when exposed to a wide variety of corrosive substances - including chlorides - High Strength-to-Weight Ratio â?? best reinforcement for weight sensitive reinforcement - Non-Conductiveâ?? It is excellent electrical and thermal insulator - Excellent Fatigue Resistanceâ?? performs best in cyclic loading solutions - Impact Resistanceâ?? It resists sudden and severe point loading - Magnetic Resistance â?? completely non-effective to electromagnetic fields; excellent for use in electromagnetic testing facilities - Light Weight easy to transport, no need for lifting equipment, easy to handle
