The pink pepper or aromatic pepper (Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi) is a plant of the Anacardiaceae family, native to Brazil, which is not related to the family of peppers. In fact, it is related to cashew, mango, and Spondias dulci. It is much appreciated in national and international cuisine, and it has direct application as a condiment in dishes. In addition, its use in the cosmetics industry is increasing.

The world market absorbs about 600 tons per year of dehydrated pink pepper with density from 250 to 360 grams per liter. Espirito Santo state is the largest Brazilian producer, followed by Rio de Janeiro, Bahia and the region of low S�£o Francisco. The United States, Netherlands, Germany, Italy and France are the main importing countries of Brazilian pink pepper. Pink pepper is mainly extractive, in natural conditions, free of pesticides, insecticides or fertilizers, and can be considered organic, being harvested at maturity.

Storage and processing are carried out in Espirito Santos and Minas Gerais . In Esp�­rito Santo, Conilon and Arabica coffees are machined separately. In Minas Gerais, batch machining and standardization are carried out for Arabica coffee.
Grown mainly in the state of Esp�­rito Santo, but also in other regions of Brazil, the Conilon (Robusta) green coffee is an essential raw material for the roasted and ground coffee and soluble coffee industries. Around 70% to 80% of Brazilian production is consumed domestically. Furthermore, Brazil has become a key player in the international market for this species, currently occupying the position of second largest producer behind only Vietnam.
Conilon coffee contracts are traded in Brazilian Reals (BRL), thus facilitating transactions for producers and other players in the domestic market.
Underlying: Green coffee beans produced in Brazil, coffea canephora variety, type 7/8 (7-35) or better, to be delivered in the city of Vit�³ria, State of Esp�­rito Santo, Brazil.
