This grade has thermoplastic property which means at high temperature we have softer bitumen and low temperature leads to have harder bitumen. These features cause bitumen 80/100 be used more in colder areas. In addition it is used to produce other grades of bitumens like emulsion bitumen, cutback and modified bitumen grades.

Roll and pour application of bitumen felts. Bonding of SBS modified membranes by hot mop method. Sealing of laps and joints of various bituminous felts and membranes. Wet area waterproofing. Bonding of wooden boardsâ?? insulation panels. Road resurfacing and repair. Application Heat the drum until the oxidized bitumen starts melting at approximately 130Deg.C. Apply by roller. Squeegee or direct rolling to an average rate of 1Kg/sq.m. For hot mop application. The membrane should be applied while pouring to avoid re-cooling.
