Handicrafts refer to products that are made by hand rather than by machines. They often involve skilled craftsmanship and are created using traditional methods and techniques passed down through generations. Handicrafts can encompass a wide range of items, including textiles, pottery, woodwork, metalwork, jewelry, glassware, and more.

Handicrafts hold cultural significance and often reflect the heritage, traditions, and artistic styles of a particular region or community. They can also be a means of economic sustenance for artisans and craftspeople, especially in rural or marginalized communities.
In addition to their cultural and economic importance, handicrafts are valued for their uniqueness, attention to detail, and the personal touch that comes from being handmade. Many people appreciate the individuality and craftsmanship that handmade items offer, often preferring them over mass-produced goods.
The appreciation for handicrafts has led to a resurgence in interest and support for artisanal products, both locally and globally. Organizations and initiatives focused on promoting and preserving traditional crafts have emerged to ensure that these skills and cultural practices are passed on to future generations.
