Degumming
The degumming process aims to remove the gum impurities in crude palm oil to make it suitable for further refinery processes. Water or acid is added to remove phospholipids and gums.
Neutralizationg
Alkali solution (typically sodium hydroxide) is added to neutralize free fatty acids. Deacidification is a process that has a
great impact on palm oil quality. If there is a problem with the neutralization process, the following decoloration will be
greatly affected. The free fatty acid in crude palm oil can affect the stability and relish of palm oil. We can add some lye to
neutralize the free fatty acid, this process is also called alkali refining.
Bleaching
The palm oil bleaching process is to remove oil pigment, residual soap, and metal ions. All the pigments can be removed by the adsorbents method. The bleaching process can improve the oil color, relish, and increase the oxidation stability, thus providing a good condition for the deodorization process.
Deodorization
Steam distillation removes volatile components that cause odors. The palm oil deodorization section plays an important role in improving palm oil quality. The refined palm oil is nearly colorless and transparent in the liquid state and white in the solid state.

2)9ND50 vertical milk separator is disc type centrifugal separator, the milk is separated into two parts cream and skim milk by centrifugal force generated by high speed rotating. This separator is a highspeed separator, with strong separating capacity, as an intermittently operated centrifugal equipment, composed of the main body, driving unit, bowl, liquid collector tray, and feed liquid bearing seat. The upper part of the bowl is the flexibility spindle and the lower part is the floating damper bearing. The spindle is coupled by coupling seat buffer and the driven wheel. The motor passes the dynamic force to the driven wheel through driving strap and tension pulley, thus for the bowl to rotate around its own axis at high speed, to form a strong centrifugal force field. The material is injected inside from the liquid inlet on the bottom. The centrifugal force compels the material liquid to flow upwards along the inner wall of bowl, and to be separated due to densities of different ingredients of material liquid. GF model is a separating equipment where there the liquid phase of large density is formed into outer ring and the liquid phase of small density is shaped into inner ring, to flow to the top of bowl, to be discharged out from their respective liquid outlets. The micro solids settle on the wall of the bowl and are to be manually discharged after the machine is shut down.
Olive Oil Separation Stainless Steel Decanter Centrifuge is used for solid-liquid-liquid separation, namely one kind of solid phase (with largest specific gravity ) and two kind of immiscible liquid phase with different density. The conveyor rotates in the same direction as the bowl, but at a different speed, the material is fed into the bowl through a stationary feed pipe. Centrifugal forces cause instant sedimentation of the solids on the wall of the bowl, while two liquid phases forming light liquid phase layer and heavy liquid phase layer. Scroll conveys the solids towards the conical end of the bow, and out of centrifuge from solid discharge port. The light liquid phase then is discharged out continuously through the overflow port at the large end of the bowl, and the heavy liquid phase will be discharged out through the centrifugal pump large end of the bowl, thus realizing the three-phase separation.

In contrast to chamber filter presses, these solid vortex centrifuges or decanter centrifuges operate continuously. High centrifugal forces separate finely divided solid particles from the suspension.
