The dried scraped peel of the inner bark of the Cinnamomum zeylanicum tree has traditionally been termed true cinnamon / Ceylon cinnamon in recognition of this indigenous Sri Lankan plant being the source of the worlds finest cinnamon. This is in contrast to cassia, which is grown in China, Indonesia and Vietnam and which gives a lower quality alternative which also contains the toxic substance coumarin â?? which is not found in Ceylon cinnamon. Cinnamon is sold in many grades. The highest grade is sold in the form of Quills, which are several peels joined together by overlaps, the hollow of which has been filled with small pieces of the same peel. Quills are sold in four different grades (Alba, Continental, Mexican and Hamburg) depending on the diameter of the rolled quills.
Black Pepper is produced from the green unripe berries of the Pepper plant (Piper nigrum Linn), and is the resultant dried whole fruit. Sri Lankan Black Pepper has a high Piperine content (the alkaloid responsible for the pungency of Black Pepper), and is widely used as a " hot" cooking spice and seasoning. Extracts of black pepper (piperine, oleoresin and essential oil) are also extracted from whole berries, and have uses as both spice and flavoring agents in the food industry, and also industrial uses in perfumery and the pharmaceutical industries.

We source our honey from the high altitude rangers of a farm located in Central West of New South Wales, Australia. The bees collect honey from a variety of native flowers of the region, giving a great taste , a beautiful bouquet of aroma and great rich deep golden look.
From Kings to the common man, for centuries King Coconut Water has been the drink of choice in our island paradise. Its natural sweet flavor is the perfect thirst quencher for life in the tropics. Its hydrating properties are such that during World War II, King Coconut Water was used for direct blood infusion as a replacement for saline. The natural high levels of potassium act as the ideal sports drink in replenishing that lost through sweat during exercise, allowing your muscles and nerves to function at their peak. King coconut water from Sri Lanka is sweeter and tastier than most of the commercial coconut waters sold in consumer packs. The taste profile makes it ideal as a single strength juice, and also as a substitute for water in juice blends in order to make a 100% juice.
Coconut flour is the new bakerâ??s delight. This wonderful substitute for wheat flour is fast finding its way into every household as a springboard for creating exciting new healthy recipes. Experience delightfully exotic breads, delicious baked treats like cookies, cakes and brownies, and much more. Coconut flour is the solution you have been looking for â?? whether itâ??s to be gluten-free, or for a low-glycemic index diet (releasing sugar slowly over the course of the day helps keep blood sugar levels in check to give you a sustained energy release). It combines the mild natural sweetness of coconut with the highest fiber content of any other flour alternative, having at least 35% more fiber than even wheat bran.
