Principle of threephase decanter centrifuges is as shown in the above figure. The substance to be separated is fed by the feeding tube into the accelerating cavity of the spiral conveyor, then enters high speed running drum wall. As the light liquid, heavy liquid and insoluble solid contained in the substance have different specific gravities, the three materials are subject to varied centrifugal forces: the insoluble solid settles into the inner wall (outside) due to its highest specific gravity and subject to maximum centrifugal force; the light liquid settles maximum far away from the inner wall (outside) due to its lowest specific gravity and subject to minimum centrifugal force; and heavy liquid settles in the middle place. The insoluble solid is discharged from the solid discharge port by a spiral feeder which has relative differential speed with the drum; and the light and heavy liquids are then separated by different structures inside the machine wherein the heavy liquid is discharged by the centripetal pump, and the light liquid is discharged via the force of gravity, thus the purpose of three phase separation is achieved.

This separator is a highspeed separator, with strong separating capacity, as an intermittently operated centrifugal equipment, composed of the main body, driving unit, bowl, liquid collector tray, and feed liquid bearing seat. The upper part of the bowl is the flexibility spindle and the lower part is the floating damper bearing. The spindle is coupled by coupling seat buffer and the driven wheel. The motor passes the dynamic force to the driven wheel through driving strap and tension pulley, thus for the bowl to rotate around its own axis at high speed, to form a strong centrifugal force field. The material is injected inside from the liquid inlet on the bottom. The centrifugal force compels the material liquid to flow upwards along the inner wall of bowl, and to be separated due to densities of different ingredients of material liquid. GF model is a separating equipment where there the liquid phase of large density is formed into outer ring and the liquid phase of small density is shaped into inner ring, to flow to the top of bowl, to be discharged out from their respective liquid outlets. The micro solids settle on the wall of the bowl and are to be manually discharged after the machine is shut down.

Olive Oil Separation Stainless Steel Decanter Centrifuge is used for solid-liquid-liquid separation, namely one kind of solid phase (with largest specific gravity ) and two kind of immiscible liquid phase with different density. The conveyor rotates in the same direction as the bowl, but at a different speed, the material is fed into the bowl through a stationary feed pipe. Centrifugal forces cause instant sedimentation of the solids on the wall of the bowl, while two liquid phases forming light liquid phase layer and heavy liquid phase layer. Scroll conveys the solids towards the conical end of the bow, and out of centrifuge from solid discharge port.
