Carbon steel strip is a cold formed European standard cold rolled high-quality low-carbon steel plate. In BS and DIN EN 10130 standards, it includes five other steel types: DC03 (1.0347), DC04 (1.0338), DC05 (1.0312), DC06 (1.0873) and DC07 (1.0898). The surface quality is divided into two types: DC01-A and DC01-B.
DC01-A: Defects that do not affect the formability or surface coating are allowed, such as air holes, slight dents, small marks, slight scratches and slight coloring.
DC01-B: The better surface shall be free of defects that may affect the uniform appearance of high-quality paint or electrolytic coating. The other surface shall meet at least surface quality A.
The main application fields of DC01 materials include: automobile industry, construction industry, electronic equipment and household appliances industry, decorative purposes, canned food, etc.

4J36-Invar is a duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless steel with relatively low contents of alloying elements. The grade has high mechanical strength, similar to that of other duplex grades. Its good corrosion resistance is on par with that of most standard stainless steel grades. Combined, these properties can be utilized to optimise design with respect to strength, maintenance, durability and long-term cost efficiency.
4J36-Invar is a 21.5% chromium, 5% manganese, 1.5% nickel, 0.45% molybdenum lean duplex stainless steel with corrosion resistance superior to 304L and comparable to 316L. 4J36-Invar possesses both superior strength and greater chloride stress-corrosion cracking resistance than conventional 300 series stainless steels.
The enhanced mechanical strength of 4J36-Invar enables it to be used in thinner cross-sections which can provide significant cost savings to the end user.4J36-Invar was designed to be a low nickel general purpose substitute for 304 and 304L.
