The parts must also be positioned and held in place securely. Once the surfaces have been prepared, the adhesive can be mixed. The two parts are mixed in equal parts and mixed thoroughly until they are completely combined. The adhesive should be mixed just before it is used to prevent it from curing prematurely. The adhesive should be applied directly to the surfaces to be bonded and spread evenly with a brush or spatula.
