It is a hard, brittle, and black lustrous coal, often referred to as hard coal or black coal, containing a high percentage of fixed carbon and a low percentage of volatile matter and impurities. As one of the most brittle kinds of coal, anthracite is the perfect resource to use for the generation of heat for an extended amount of time. As the coal is burnt, it produces a hot blue flame that can generate enough heat to power the heating systems of entire buildings, homes and offices.
calcined anthracite coal is made from Ningxia Baiyun anthracite. F.C is between 90%-95%. Reduce the cost of steelmaking effectively by replacing the traditional petroleum coal of carburant. Also can improve the Carbon content in steel-making and Ductile iron foundry.
Application:
Carbon raiser has two main uses, namely as the fuel and additive
Used in steel mill ladles, melting, holding and blast furnaces as recarburizer
Used as a substitute of Calcined Petroleum Coke in a particular application
Anthracite coal is the largest degree of coal, a general carbon content of more than 90%, volatile matter below 10%, has high density, hardness and ignition, burning with no smoke. Anthracite appearance is black solid hard, metallic luster. To grease friction will not stain, fracture into a shell-shaped, burning flame short and less smoke, no coke, no glial layer thickness. Anthracite calorific value of about 7000-8000 kcal/kg, sometimes the large volatile content called semi-anthracite ; small called high anthracite.

Carbon raiser is a carbon material, produced at high temperatures and used for carburization of steel and cast iron.
It is applied during the steelmaking with low cast iron content (allow of steel and carbon) in charge in oxygen converter and electrosmelting processes. In metallurgy carbon raiser (milled graphite) is widely used for slag foaming, during coal graphite production, as a filler for graphite-reinforced plastic.
