While for years people have harvested and used cuttlebones for various purposes, the most widely recognized use of the cuttlebone is as a supplement and exercise toy for birds.

Descriptionã Dicalcium phosphate is white crystal powder or granular form, tasteless, odorless. Apparent density 800-1100kg/m3 soluble in dilute , dilute nitric acid and acetic acid. Feed grade 18%DCP is low soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol; and has been heated over 90â??. It begins to lose its crystal water and convert to calcium pyrophosphate above 400. Moreover, 18%DCP is lower moisture absorbing.
