Naphthenic base oil is a type of mineral oil that is produced through the refining of crude oil. It is characterized by its composition of saturated cyclic hydrocarbons called naphthene. Applications: Naphthenic base oils are used in a wide range of applications, including automotive lubricants, transformer oils, metalworking fluids, rubber and tire manufacturing, and more. It is designed for insulating and cooling transformers, oil-immersed switchgear and other electrical insulating applications. Does not contain harmful polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
