Recarburizer/ Carbon Raiser/carburetant are used in casting, cast iron, cast steel, and castings. There is a requirement for carbon. Therefore, as a name suggests, carbonizers are used to increase the carbon content in molten iron. For example, the common charge in smelting is pig iron, scrap, Back to the charge, the carbon content of the pig iron is high, so increasing the amount of scrap steel, reducing the amount of pig iron, and adding carbonizer can play a role in reducing the cost of castings.
