DFI Series Digital Force Gauge is our latest microprocessor digital indicator gauge. It has inputs both for dynamometers (force) and load cells (weight) strain gauges. It is ideal to be used in the most innovative static and dynamic measurement systems such as material testing machines, printing machines, test benches and automation. Thanks to its ??0,02% accuracy DFI can be used in quality systems as first or second line sample item if regularly calibrated by SIT centre. The measurement system is made up of an analog section particularly stable at long term, of a carryng frequency feeder which lowers the system thermal drifts and of a 16 bit A/D converter which guarantees 65.000 internal divisions. In order to increase the integration level of the components a traditional mixed tecnology and SMT has been adopted to make the indicator resistant to any kind of vibration and mechanical stresses besides granting the highest reliability of the circuit. The internal batteries guarantee 1 year autonomy also thanks to the AUTO POWER OFF function which activates when any measurement change is detected within 30 minutes. The indicator is equipped with a setting menu which allows to choose the most suitable type of engineering measurement units (kN, daN, lbs, t, kg), the resolution and the digital filter according to the measurement to be calculated. The display also shows a bar analog indication which is operating inside the setting menu too. When the instrument is working in compression mode, SP1 icon is alight; when it is working in tension mode, SP2 icon is alight.
