Turmeric is a shrub plant with a plant height of 70 cm. The characteristics of the stem are pseudo-suppendous, erect, rounded, forming rhizomes, yellowish-green in color. Turmeric has hairy, scaly compound flowers with a stalk length of about 16-40 cm. The flower crown is cylindrical petals, yellow, measuring about 3 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. The root part is light brown and belongs to the fibrous root type.
