Green cardamom, or Elaichi, is a highly aromatic Indian spice that we source from plantations in south India. Our Green Cardamom traces its origins to select estates in the verdant rainforests of the Western Ghats in Idukki. The plants are grown naturally and free of chemicals. Each pod is carefully hand-picked and dried in the shade. These handpicked extra large pods pack an intense flavor with their bold, sweet-floral and peppery notes characteristic of Idukki. We specialize in Grade 8+ predominantly but can also satisfy any demand which requires a mix of Grades.
