Copra meal or coconut meal is the by product of the oil extraction from dried coconut kernels (copra) that is subsequently dried and crushed into powder or chips. This product is widely used in the animal feeds industry and is commonly consumed by animals such as hogs and cattle since it contains a high percentage of crude protein and crude fiber. It has a sweet coconut aroma and is brown in color.
