Mica Powder is a mineral with a high-quality aspect ratio. It is chemically known as Alumina Silicate. It is fireproof in nature with low heat thermal conductivity and excellent thermal stability.
Mica powder can be used in paint and coating, fireproof insulation to reduce the damage of ultraviolet rays or other light and heat damage to the paint film, promote coating acid and alkali and insulation, and strengthen its durability, freezing resistance corrosion resistance, water resistance, etc. It helps to strengthen the adherence to the layer, improve its intensity, brightness, tenacity, and compaction. As a result, it is conducive to reducing the ventilation, preventing speckle and chaps as well as reducing sediment in the paint. As a prior filler in paint, mica flakes and powder can be used to substitute some expensive raw materials in the paint so as to reduce the production cost.
