sieves. Larger nutmegs (weighing about 8g) are considered superior and are traded at a higher price.
Nutmeg is extracted from the plant using organic solvents. They are produced for commercial flavorings and perfumes.
Nutmeg has medicinal properties and can be used to treat a number of ailments, including as a digestive aid, to treat flatulence, diarrhea, and vomiting.
