The Hass avocado is a variety with dark green,bumpy skin.It was first grown and sold by Rudolph Hass from Southen California hence the name HASS. The fruit is large in size,when ripe,the skin becomes dark purplish black and yields to gentle pressure. The Hass fruit is available for supply in sizes 14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28,30 and 32. The dry matter content is above 23% and oil content is 12%.
