Insect meal is the main product of separating fat from dried larvae, in the powder form and having higher protein (minimum 52.2%) and lower fat(maximum 12.2) content. Insect meal triggers a positive behavioral response and higher feed intake at low inclusion rates. Besides a rich and well-blanced protein content, Insect Meal provides a wide range of interesting micronutrients. Insect meal also contains anti-microbial peptides, and lauric acid.
