Partially Oriented Yarn Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) is the primary form of Polyester Yarn categorized starting from 50d-500d in Semi Dull, Bright, Cationic, Dope Dyed POY available in various colors.
Commonly known as polyester partially oriented yarn, partially oriented yarn (POY) is the primary forms of polyester yarn. It is also called polyester pre-oriented yarn.
Viscose yarn as a silky and smooth appearance and feel and has similar woven characteristics and breathes like cotton. Manufacturing of viscose yarn is common in different textile industries to make garments of latest fashion trends. Offerings of our viscose yarn comes in various colour shades and counts. Features: High strength Low moisture retention Best suitable for highly quality machines that are used in textile industry Viscose is a unique form of wood cellulose acetate that can be used for the manufacture of a number of different types of products. It can also be made into the more common form of rayon that is used for many types of textile products, including clothing. Viscose rayon has a silky appearance and feel, and also has the ability to breathe in a manner similar to cotton weaves. One of the more popular properties of viscose rayon is that the fabric tends to drape very well, which makes it ideal for use in simple curtains, as well as the perfect fabric to line more formal draperies. Best examples of Viscose yarn is yarn for manufacturing home furnishing products and linings. Providing the staple for towels and table-cloths and into high tenacity yarn for tires. Yet other uses included the manufacture of sponges and absorbent cloths. Products we have to offer: Viscose Filament Yarn Spun Yarn (Viscose spun yarn) Viscose textured yarn and others..
Spun yarns are long continuous length of interlocked fibers, suitable for use in the production of textiles, sewing, crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidery, and rope making. Thread is a type of spun yarn intended for sewing by hand or machine. Spun yarns can be made from a number of natural or synthetic fibers. Cotton and polyester are the most commonly spun fibers in the world. Cotton is grown throughout the world, harvested, ginned, and prepared for yarn spinning. Polyester is extruded from polymers derived from natural gas and oil. Other commonly used synthetic fibers are nylon and acrylic. Animal fibers include wool and silk. Rayon fibers are produced from wood pulp. Spun yarn is made by twisting staple fibers together to make a cohesive thread. Spun yarns may contain a single type of fibre, or be a blend of various types. Combining synthetic fibers with natural fibers is very common. The most widely used blends are cotton-polyester and wool-acrylic fibre blends. Blends of different natural fibers are common too. Yarn is selected for different textiles based on the characteristics of the fibers, such as warmth (wool), light weight (cotton or rayon), durability (nylon), or softness (cashmere).
Fully Drawn Yarn or FDY is a variety of Highly drawn filament and is widely processed in manufacturing of fabrics and other textile needs. The process of manufacturing FDY is quite similar to POY except for the fact that while drawing, the speed is at much higher spinning speeds than POY. Using and employing FDY in weft or warp during the production process is common. FDY can be woven or knitted with any other filament to get different varieties of fabrics. Some common and wide use of FDY are home furnishing products, terry towels, fashion related fabrics and more.
ATY or Air Textured yarn comes in two two types of fibres- Polyester ATY and Nylon ATY. Air Textured yarn is used to provide a distinct look and feel to any fabric. It comes in fairly large range of deniers like 20d-700d so it can be used to make any fabric from simple lightwear fabric to heavy duty fabric used in and outside of a luggage. One can find a large range of applications of Air Textured Yarn (ATY). It is also used in garment manufacturing of various kinds like swimwear and sports wear. ATY also comes in a host of colors and is often reffered to as dope dyed yarn or dope dyed ATY. We bring Air textured Yarn (ATY) in two fibres for you: Polyester Air Textured Yarn (ATY) Nylon Air Textured Yarn (ATY) AIR TEXTURED YARN AVAILABLE AT YARNSHIP: SR.NO DENIER TYPE OF YARN ENDUSE 1 60-225 Non Shrinkage Shirting 2 80-550 Engineered Fancy Slubs Shirting/knitwear/home furnishings 3 100-1200 Fancy Melange Knitwear/shirting 4 310 Khadi/linen Effect Shirting/curtains

Partially oriented yarn(POY): partially oriented yarn is a continuous straight multifilament yarn with no twist. Since yarn is wound on to the at a high speed, this orients the molecular chains. this is the reason it is called POY. Partially oriented yarn is produced from the melting and extrusion (melt spinning) of the polyester chip or flake. During the spinning process the filaments are stretched or drawn as much as five times their original size to orient the polymer to meet the desired evenness, strength, shrinkage, and elongation properties. So the term partially oriented yarn refers to multi-filament that is only partially stretched
Draw textured yarn (DTY) is made from Partially Oriented Yarn (POY).Intermingled DTY yarn is a technology which is very economical than the older technologies like sizing, twisting in synthetic yarn weaving. In this technology air causes the filaments to be intertwined and mingled with each other to form a compact section. They are categorised as : -NIM (non-intermingled):0-10 knots per meter ; NIM means having no knots -SIM (slight-intermingled): 40-50 knots per meter ; SIM is that the network fastness is very low and it is pulled scattered with hand dragging polyester yarn. -HIM (high-intermingled) :100-120 knots per meter ; HIM means to pull the polyester yarn very hard by hand, and it is difficult to spread the pull.
