Product Functions&Applications: 1. Lauric Acid mainly used in the production of alkyd resin, wetting agent, detergent, pesticides, surfactants, food additives and cosmetics raw materials. 2. Lauric Acid used as a surface treatment agent for the preparation of adhesive. It is also used in the manufacture of alkyd resin, chemical fiber oil, pesticides, synthetic spices, plastic stabilizer, gasoline and lubricating oil. 3. Lauric Acid is the raw material for producing soap, detergent, cosmetics, surfactants and chemical fiber oil.
Lauric acid or systematically, dodecanoic acid, is a saturated fatty acid with a 12-carbon atom chain, thus falling into the medium chain fatty acids, is a white, powdery solid with a faint odor of baby oil or soap. The salts and esters of lauric acid are known as laurates.
